Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, telephone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies the results. Salt Lake City People Search does not save a copy of those queries on its servers. A direct message gives us only the details you decide to include, which we use to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create routine logs containing an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps us operate the service and see which resources visitors use. Cookies or related technology may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
The limited data described above supports site operation, fault diagnosis, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, and Utah government portals, library collections, or outside search tools. Each destination controls its own privacy terms. Information entered there is subject to that operator's rules, including information submitted through sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
Parties That Process Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
Data Safeguards
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs remain only as long as the stated operational purposes require. Because visitors do not create accounts, Salt Lake City People Search holds no visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
The Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code ยง 13-61-201, gives qualifying consumers rights that include confirming or accessing processing, correcting inaccuracies, deleting data they provided, obtaining a portable copy, and opting out of certain sales or targeted advertising. Because we retain little, a request will usually involve checking contact messages and server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Records held by Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, or Utah offices remain under the custodian's control, and removal or correction requests for those records must go to that office.
Updates to This Policy
A revised policy will appear here when these practices change. Using the service after publication of a revision signifies acceptance of the updated policy.
